Fundraising for biomedical research into ME - Oakamoor in Staffordshire - Sunday 5 September.
Thanks to Jan Kelsall and friends for promoting awareness of ME and for the support for our proposal for biomedical research into ME.
Thorpe St. Andrew school in Norwich organised a special Have a Cuppa event in conjunction with the
Children In Need non-uniform day.
Pia Simpson and vice-head of Altair House, Gordon Nicholls, arranged
for tables to be set up in the staff rooms with leaflets
about Invest in ME present for teachers to read.

Raised £450 for biomedical research into ME.

The Maidstone Independent ME Support group held a 'Have a Cuppa' event on Monday 7th November 2005.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks & baked goods were on offer for a small donation.
Also incorportated was a 'bring & buy' stall and the opportunity to take part in a quiz. A very pleasant afternoon was had by all.
Raised £60 for biomedical research into ME.

The event was at Carole Eatock's home in Bolton and she raffled prizes donated by businesses and friends in the Bolton area.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks & baked goods were on offer for a small donation.
Carol doesn’t have ME and guests didn’t either - an amazing contribution in these circumstances
and an example of why we can be achieved by coordinated efforts.
Raised over £1000 for biomedical research into ME.

The Somerset Coast ME Group raised £30 at their Have a Cuppa for ME coffee morning. This was all donated by sufferers themselves.
Sian says 'As we are a new group we were hoping to raise awareness and get some new members. Everyone who was able to attend enjoyed themselves so we will probably do it again.
