Sponsorship Opportunities
Invest in ME Research Conference Week 2026
Conference Week 2026 Sponsorship
Invest in ME Research (IiMER) is a 100% volunteer-run charity - with no salaries - ensuring that every donation goes fully and
directly to the areas that matter:
Our objective is to facilitate international biomedical collaboration in an environment of scientific integrity.
Sponsorship offers organisations and individuals a meaningful opportunity to support these important scientific meetings,
enabling the charity to do more high-quality biomedical research into myalgic encephalomyelitis.
Partner with us to support our 20th Anniversary events at the Wellcome Genome Campus, Cambridge.
Supporting Scientific Excellence
The Wellcome Genome Campus provides a prestigious, world-class backdrop for our conference week. By helping to cover the infrastructure costs of this venue, sponsors enable a unique gathering of global experts in a setting designed for discovery.
Note: All scientific sessions remain independent of corporate influence to ensure an atmosphere of open, peer-to-peer data sharing.
The Charity
The charity has demonstrated a track record of practical initiatives fostering international-particularly European-collaboration in biomedical ME research. Initiatives such as the European ME Research Group, European ME Clinician Council, Young EMERG for early-career researchers, and co-founding of EMEA (the European ME Alliance) representing patients in 19 European nations. All achieved with limited resources, always advocating for the welfare of patients, but focused on strategic objectives.
Socialising & Networking
Underwrite one of our three evening dinners: Colloquium Arrival, Colloquium Day 1, or the Pre-Conference Dinner. These are strictly informal social events without formal sponsor presentations.
Exhibition Space
A dedicated presence in the central refreshment area. This provides a base for your team to interact with researchers and clinicians and patient groups during scheduled breaks throughout the week.
Young EMERG Workshop
A grant-style sponsorship to facilitate the attendance of early-career researchers from across Europe. Help build the next generation of international ME scientific talent.
Colloquium Infrastructure
Help ease the costs of our closed, confidential scientific meeting (#BRMEC15). This research symposium is for researchers to share data in a secure environment.
Conference Delivery
Support the filming and global dissemination of the #IIMEC18 public conference, ensuring findings reach patients and clinicians worldwide.
Publications & CPD
Sponsorship includes recognition in the Journal of IiMER and social media/web site. All relevant sessions are CPD-accredited for professional development.
Support International ME Research Collaboration in 2026
With no government or large agency support, the charity plans, arranges and manages all of the events via the work of its volunteers and uses its own resources to fund the conference week. Our aim is always to ensure the best environment for generating collaborations between researchers and sharing data, knowledge, and ideas to inspire progress in ME research.
The charity supports the European ME Research Group and Young EMERG groups ad subsidises a substantial number of delegates as much as possible, including the important social gatherings for networking. The charity therefore appreciates all sponsorship that is offered to support these cpd-accredited conferences and colloquiums and encourage a collaborative, friendly and productive atmosphere.
All sponsorship contributes directly to supporting researchers and maintaining accessible registration fees, and helping researchers focus on advancing research into ME.
Together we can sustain biomedical progress in ME research.
